Mennonite Sale & Auction for World Relief

QUILT AUCTION
Several dozen quilts will be auctioned, ranging from small wall hangings to king & queen size. These handmade masterpieces include both traditional & contemporary designs made by Mennonites from Texas & across the country. Woodworking, art work & collectible items will be interspersed with the quilts throughout the auction, which begins at noon.

CRAFTS FROM TEN THOUSAND VILLAGES
Unique & beautiful crafts from around the world, made by artisans who typically use traditional techniques & materials. Sales of these crafts generate much needed income for people in more than 30 countries around the world. For more information about Ten Thousand Villages, click here.

SILENT AUCTION
The silent auction will feature a wide variety of goods & services donated by Mennonite craftspersons & local businesses. The silent auction will be ongoing throughout the morning.

HOME MADE BAKED GOODS
Traditional Mennonite favorites including peppernuts, shoo-fly pie, breaks, cookies, jellies, pies and more.

LUNCH
Plan to stay enjoy lunch at the sale. The Spanish & English speaking Mennonite churches of Texas will work together to provide a variety of freshly made foods that are sure to please.

PENNY POWER
We will be collecting pennies & other coins throughout the day. The penny collection will support Mennonite Central Committee water projects in various countries. For many people accessible supplies of clean, safe water are scarce or nonexistent, creating extreme hardship & often disease. For a picture gallery click here.
